Ejari is Dubai's official system for registering tenancy contracts. Once your contract is registered, it becomes legally recognised — and you will need it for many everyday tasks in Dubai.

Why do you need Ejari?

  • To connect electricity and water (DEWA) at your new home
  • To sponsor residence visas for your family
  • For some government and bank services that ask for proof of address
  • To protect your rights as a tenant if there is ever a dispute

Documents you usually need

  • Signed tenancy contract
  • Tenant's Emirates ID and passport copy with UAE residence visa
  • Landlord's title deed copy
  • Landlord's ID or passport copy (or the property management company's details)
  • DEWA premise number for the property
  • [Add any other document you ask for, e.g. security deposit receipt]

How we register your Ejari

  1. Send us clear copies of the documents above on WhatsApp.
  2. We check everything and let you know if anything is missing.
  3. We submit the registration for you.
  4. You receive your Ejari certificate — ready for DEWA and visa applications.

You can follow the progress on our tracking page.

How long does it take and how much does it cost?

  • Usually [add your usual time, e.g. same day / X working days] once all documents are complete.
  • Our service price: [add your price, including government fees or not].

Renewing your Ejari

Your Ejari must be renewed whenever you renew your tenancy contract. Send us the renewed contract and we will handle it the same way.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Names on the contract not matching the Emirates ID
  • Missing or wrong DEWA premise number
  • Unsigned pages in the tenancy contract
